Repopulating these water bodies with indigenous species and restoring its condition would spell a difference in fisheries' sustainability. It would conserve its biodiversity and address food sufficiency issues that would, in turn, result in the alleviation of poverty in rural areas.PDFengFreshwater ecology--LCSHBiodiversity--LCSHSeed technology--LCSHLakes--LCSHWatersheds--LCSHNFRDI launched research projects in support of BASILNewsletter ArticleSDG 1 - No PovertySDG 2 - Zero HungerSDG 15 - Life on LandIRC00045IMC000304
