Abstract
In line with the Department of Agriculture's program in uplifting the fisherfolk's living status by promoting technologies for the increase of production and income amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, NFRDI conducted R&D projects on hatchery and nursery of tilapia and milkfish. Twenty (20) cooperators in CALABARZON were identified and selected as beneficiaries of the projects. The NFRDI, through DA-BAR funding, provided support such as agricultural inputs, tilapia breeders, milkfish larvae and fry, and financial and technical assistance.
