(National Fisheries Research and Development Institute, 2021)The Capture Fisheries Research and Development Division, together with the Training Division, spearheaded the conduct of Training/Workshop on Aquatic Wildlife Laws and Treaties and Basic Identification of Prohibited and Regulated Aquatic Species last August 23-28, 2021. The training aimed to gived 38 NFRDI personnel knowledge of the aquatic wildlife laws and regulations under R.A. 9174 and its IRR FAO 233, the Aquatic Wildlife Conservation, and international laws on wildlife such as CITES and IUCN.
