Abstract
National Fisheries Research and Development Institute's (NFRDI) very own, Dr. Maria Theresa M. Mutia was awarded 2021 UPLB-SESAM Distinguished Alumni Award and 2021 Outstanding Alumna for Government Service by the UPLB Alumni Association on October 19, 2021 via video conferencing. Dr. Mutia, chief science research specialist of the NFRDI's Freshwater Fisheries Research and Development Center, was recognized for her outstanding contributions and dedicated government service in the growing culture of research that has been instrumental in strengthening the agriindustrialization and fisheries program in the country.
