NFRDI celebrates 2nd year anniversary

Abstract

The National Fisheries Research and Development Institute commemorated its 2nd Year Anniversary on February 15, 2021. With the existence of the virus hanging everyone's head, the occasion was celebrated virtually. At the flag raising ceremony, Dr. Lilian C. Garcia, CESO V, NFRDI's Acting Executive Director, welcomed and wished everyone a blissful anniversary then briefly introduced the Undersecretary for AgriIndustrialization and Fisheries, Ms. Cheryl Marie Natividad-Caballero. The Undersecretary recognized NFRDI's role in the Fisheries Industry and commended NFRDI's unwavering commitment amidst the presence of COVID-19 pandemic. She is hopeful that with everyone's effort and capability, NFRDI will be able to build productivity and enhance resiliency of the agriculture and fisheries sector. She finished her message congratulating NFRDI for reaching another successful year.
