Abstract

Thirty cooperator-beneficiaries had harvested a total of 1,713 kg with an overall value of PHP 548,160.00 from Maliputo culture. The fish were cultured in a 64 cu.m. cage (4 x 4 x 4 m) per cooperator at an average stocking density of 400 fish per cage from December 10, 2020 to June 21, 2021. Through the project "Technology Promotion of Grow out Culture of Maliputo (Caranx ignobilis)" conducted by the NFRDI-Freshwater Fisheries Research and Development Center (FFRDC) in Taal, the cooperator beneficiaries were selected from Sambal Ilaya and Wawa Ibaba, Lemery and Butong, Taal in Batangas province.
